The Wilderness of Childhood

The Wilderness of Childhood is a long-term series of photographic works that began in 1998 and contain images shot in locations in Indiana (my birthplace) and rural Kentucky (the birthplace of my grandmother) in the United States. The photographs attempt to capture a visual depiction of the concept of psychological landscape and childhood memories that have been influenced by Asian cultural identity and the emotional impact of being a biracial person in America.
